Our fitting process
Two steps. No shortcuts.
Every car at our Cambridge workshop follows the same process — whether it's a £500 dash cam or a full cabin lighting build.
1 · Strip & dry-fit
Door cards, scuttles or sill trims are removed using OEM clip tools — no broken plastics, no scratched leather.
2 · Loom & routing
Wires are loomed in fabric tape, routed with the factory harness and grounded to chassis points the manufacturer used.
What we fit
Three install types. One standard.
Each install type has its own tooling, but the workmanship is the same — looms taped, fixings torqued, faults zero.
Ambient lighting fitting
Doors, dash, footwells and console — fibre-optic or LED strip. We can fit kits you've bought elsewhere, or supply our own.
- Door card removal with proper trim tools
- Concealed strip routing — no visible joins

Dash cam installation
Front-only, front + rear or full 3-channel. Hardwired to the fusebox with a battery-protect kit so it parks-guard without flattening your car.
- Hidden cable run through A-pillar & headlining
- Rear camera fed through tailgate boot — no slammed wires
- Hardwire kit with low-voltage cut-off included
Immobiliser & tracker installs
Ghost II, Autowatch and S5/S7 trackers — installed by an engineer, not a YouTube tutorial. TASSA-registered for insurance discounts.

Our workshop is in Cambridge, with easy access from the A14, M11 and A11 — we cover the whole of Cambridgeshire including Ely, Newmarket, St Neots, Huntingdon, Royston and Saffron Walden. Drop-in viewings are by appointment.
A dash cam install is around 2 hours, a full ambient lighting kit (doors, dash, footwells) is a full day, and a Ghost immobiliser is roughly 3–4 hours. We give you an exact slot when you book — no all-day waits.
Yes — we fit customer-supplied kits all the time. We'll inspect the kit before quoting and let you know if anything is missing or unsafe. Fitting-only labour is quoted per car.
No cut wires, no soldered joints — every install uses CAN-bus taps or factory connectors so your manufacturer warranty is preserved. We provide a fitting certificate and TASSA paperwork for your insurer where applicable.
Every fitment carries a 2-year workmanship guarantee. If a wire works loose, a clip rattles or an LED dies, we sort it — no quibbles, free of charge.
Dash cams and basic LED kits — yes, within a 15-mile radius of Cambridge. Full ambient lighting and immobilisers we always fit at the workshop, where we have lifts, climate control and proper lighting.
